What’s in the cosmic views for October 2020 for you?

Read on, and astrologer Linda Joyce will help you determine what lies ahead for you this month.

The frustration and anger of Mars retrograde are still infecting all that you do. It begins the month in square to Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter, in Capricorn, which makes it difficult to manifest your goals or do the work you were meant to do. This is not a time to hang on to what was. Those who will advance are the souls who can adjust. We all feel the pain of loss and of all that we took for granted, but change, once you get used to it, can help you reinvent yourself.

Uranus in Taurus, opposite Mercury, the planet of communication and ideas, will help you do just that. Embrace your creativity and start seeing the world with new eyes. Neptune sextile Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter add ideals and fantasies to your imagination. We begin the month with a Full Moon in Aries. Aries is the sign of vision, and you must open yourself up to that possibility. Full Moons bring to the surface, something that has been festering just below our consciousness.

Explore, examine, and play with those new ideas until one holds on and doesn’t let you go. Neptune sextile Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter, opens the door to creativity. In a crisis, it’s essential to survival. Also, know that you can always find a solution if you open your mind.

There are two Full Moon’s this month, and the second one is on the 31st. It happens conjunct Uranus in Taurus, so a surprise is on the way, I’m hoping for the best. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio and directs on November 4th. We’ll all have to face old issues and work through them. So remember, you will get your life back, perhaps adjusted and changed, but together nevertheless. Try and find something positive that happened during the pandemic. Even if there was a financial loss, maybe you connected more deeply with those you love. Be grateful for what you have, and it will multiply.

 Aries (March 21st – April 20th)

As an Aries, you don’t mind conflict. But the last few months has given you an overdose of truth, and the challenge is to see yourself and your life more realistically. Mars, your ruler, is still retrograde and doesn’t go direct until November 14th, so life is still unclear and frustrating.

The retrograde takes Mars and helps it dig deeper into old issues, and you won’t be able to turn away. If you feel anxious and uneasy, there’s a reason. You need to look at yourself and your life with new eyes. The key now is to forgive and forget, it’s the only way to move forward. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th, and it’s essential to double-check appointments and don’t get upset if things are delayed. Old projects have the power now, so if you’re working on one, you may get it done quickly and clear the way for something new. Get rid of the old and make room for the new.

The Full Moon on the 1st brings your emotions to the fore. It occurs in your 1st and 7th house or you vs. relationships.  If something’s not working, you’ll know it. But if you have a good relationship, you will fix it through communication and compassion. If it’s not right, then perhaps it might be time to move on. Venus enters Virgo on October 3rd, and work picks up. You’re ready to reconnect to people you’ve lost touch with and begin to heal the chasms that temporarily brought you down. Your career will eventually be making a shift, but not until the end of the year. It’s more about new opportunities, so don’t panic.

If you’re in a relationship, this is a time for truth, so don’t run from it. If you’re single, you’re open to someone new, and you may just get that chance. So if you do, take it.

Taurus (April 21st – May 20th)

taurus
Taurus dislikes being uncomfortable, even if they chose the goals they’re pursuing. You love comfort and luxury, and that’s your weakness. If you want to be successful, get off the silk pillow and learn how to make a difficult choice. Know what’s essential and what isn’t. Remind yourself you can’t have it all, at least at the same time.

There are two Full Moon’s this month, on the first in Aries and the 31st in Taurus. Aries rules your 12th house of spirituality and the unconscious – so be prepared for a surprise. Since your sign rules, values, and finances, you may be juggling these issues or trying to improve old habits. Are you clear on your priorities? If your values are distorted or misplaced, nothing gets done or done right. To have the clarity you need, rid yourself of clutter.

When you make it easy for the universe to help you, it does. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in your 2nd house of finances. Take the time to work out your expenses and pay attention to how you spend. A little consciousness can go a long way. Mars is retrograde all month in Aries, and it makes you feel that no one is listening. Forget about everyone else, pay attention to what you want and need, and your ability to focus will help others do the same. What’s important now is your job, work, and goals. By the end of the year, you should have things in place, and yes, there will be new projects and possibilities for you to embrace.

For now, just get organized. With the New Moon in your 6th house, you may find a better way to organize your work schedule. If you’re in a relationship, it’s challenging to get things flowing. Your partner feels stuck. If you’re single, have patience, you’ll meet someone soon, but it may not be this month.

Gemini (May 21st – June 20th)

Gemini is a sign of action and adventure. The question to ask is what’s important to you? What ignites that inner passion? Until it’s defined, you may feel lost. Take time to know yourself and your trigger points. When you understand what motivates you, then you save yourself from pursuing the wrong things.

This month, there is a Full Moon on the 1st in Aries or your 11th house of friends. Be prepared to help a friend embrace a new vision of their life. Or perhaps you’ll make a new friend that inspires you. Friendship adds joy and pleasure to life. The second Full Moon is in Taurus and your 12th house of the unconscious. Whatever comes from the 12th can’t be determined by anyone other than a higher power. Uranus is in your 12th house has been keeping you on the edge of your seat, ready to adapt to whatever is thrown your way. Mercury, your ruler, in Scorpio this month, has energized your 6th house of work and health.

It’s opposition to Uranus creates excitement and new possibilities, but it also takes you out of your safety zone, so do be careful. With Mars retrograde and square Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, it’s time to transform your life. Get rid of the past, which means your old habits and routines.

It’s time to reshape your life according to a new vision. When you do, it pays off. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th, and it’s a good time to get rid of old projects and loose ends. Stay centered no matter what happens around you, and you’ll be fine. If you’re in a relationship, things are about to change, but not until the end of the year. Have patience. If you’re single, it’s not a good time to meet someone new, but it’s on its way.

 Cancer (June 21st – July 22nd)

Cancers are ruled by the ever-changing moods of the Moon. To find stability and keep your sensitivity, you must have a strong sense of self. The Full Moon in Aries on the 1st brings light to your goals and career. You may use this time to reevaluate what you’re doing and where you’re going. Things are not easy at the moment, but this insight will help you advance or avoid a problem.

Mars square, Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn warns that you may put too much energy in something that’s not working. If you don’t take care of yourself when things get challenging, your health could suffer. Life is not going to be comfortable until the end of the year, so dig in and let go. You can change things that much, so just find a way to get by.

Open yourself up to inspiration from above. You have more power than you realize if you can balance heart and mind. Don’t let your emotions lead. They will lead you to more problems. Mercury opposite Uranus brings in new ideas without much effort. Just open your mind and your imagination. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, creating delays and misunderstandings. The more you communicate with others, the fewer problems you have. Scorpio rules your 5th house of authority and what you need to make things work is confidence. If you don’t feel it, fake it. Too many emotions block common sense.

The second Full Moon is on the 31st in Taurus. It rules your 11th house of friends. Someone close to you will surprise you. If you’re in a relationship, things are challenging. Have patience with your partner. Things will begin to heal. If you’re single, don’t get involved for another two more months, and then romance will be yours.

7 Reasons things about the Cancer zodiac sign.

 Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd)

Leos don’t like change, even if they long for it. It’s’s all about losing control. Remind yourself that change you don’t initiate was meant to happen. Perhaps it’s time to take a new direction or look at where you are with fresh eyes. The Full Moon on the 1st in Aries helps you get re-inspired.

If you allow yourself to see and believe in something beyond your reach, then you will feel motivated, and that’s what is required. Your confidence is being challenged, don’t waste time lost in worry, step up to the plate, and do what needs to be done. Mars is still retrograde in Aries, and it’s making a square to Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn, in your 6th house of work. Things are not getting done, and you feel frustrated.

Let go and accept what you can’t change. Your self-worth comes from you, not what you can do. Gather us together and provide support and information to work around the problem. When you work as a unit, the impossible gets done. The second Full Moon on the 31st is in Taurus conjunct Uranus. It rules your 10th house of career. You’ve been coping with on-going changes at work, and now you can see where it’s going. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, and you need to clear up old projects and make space for the new. Accept what you can’t change, and things will begin to take shape.

If you’re in a relationship, there is tension in the air, but it’s not severe unless you have nothing in common. You will not settle these things until the end of the year. If you’re single, you’re looking for excitement and change, not necessarily what you need long term.

Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd)

Virgo is an earth sign, with the ability to focus and pursue its goals. You can be obsessive about what you want. Make sure what you want is good for you and not just a fantasy. Once you attach that laser mind of yours to a goal, you will get things done. This month Uranus is opposite your ruler, Mercury, which brings new ideas and change to your doorstep.

Mercury is the ruler of Virgo, so you’re changing inside as well as out. Your yearning and goals may be different now because you’ve changed. Acknowledge that. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, but it rules both you and your 10th house of career. It’s time to clear up old projects and either embrace a new vision of yourself and your job or move on.

If you’re dissatisfied, now is the time to change. The key to success now is the ability to stay focused and step out of the past and into the unknown. Venus enters your sign on the 3rd, so your social life should improve. Enjoy it. The second Full Moon this month is on the 31st and in Taurus.

It’s time to look at your ideals, those lofty beliefs that lift you out of the ordinary. What inspires you? What doesn’t? Keep an open mind. If you’re in a relationship, things have been intense and confusing. You’re not sure how you feel or where you’re going. Don’t make judgments right now. Just give yourself some space. If you’re single, you could fall in love. It’s idealistic. But it could last if it’s the right person. Only time will tell.

Libra (September 23rd – October 22nd)

Libras have the challenge of letting go of what’s not useful or truthful. The Full Moon on the 1st is in Aries, ruler of your 7th house of partnerships and relationships, brings what has not been working to the fore. With Uranus in opposition to Mercury, there is an atmosphere for new ideas and a new path to making a living. If you’re open to changing courses or adapting to what’s new, then you’ll be fine.

The world is reinventing itself, and it’s a great time to add a greater sense of spirituality to the picture. Take some alone time and hear your inner thoughts. Having a relationship with yourself is essential to your happiness. The second Full Moon occurs in Taurus on the 31st, and you will be encouraged to open up spiritually more than ever.

It’s a reminder that you’re more than your physical self. You are part spirit, and it requires attention. What it loves is to be heard and to take risks based on your beliefs. The conjunction it makes to Uranus assures that something new is coming your way. Mars square Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn increase the frustration at being stuck.

Anger may be strong and if you have it, use it for motivation. There are things you still can’t do, and learning how to channel your energy is important.

Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, ruler of your finances and values. Pay attention to what you’re spending your money on and be cautious for now. If you’re in a relationship, see what’s working and what isn’t. And if you can fix it and want to, you will. If you’re single, it’s a time for differences more than what used to work. Don’t be surprised if someone from the past reenters your life and rekindles an old spark.

Scorpio (October 23rd – November 21st)

Scorpio is a passionate sign. Of course, that holds true in the cosmic views of October 2020. You are either disinterested in whatever is happening, or you’re obsessed and impatient, trying to have things your way. You believe in destiny or just the freedom to accomplish what you have embraced as important.

Mercury in Scorpio this month helps you be more communicative than usual. It goes retrograde on the 14th, and people from your past may get in touch. This is a time to get rid of whatever is on your desk – by doing so, you’re making room for the new. Mercury makes an opposition to Uranus, and you’re feeling the pull to change many of the old rules you’ve lived by. Some friendships may not feel right. They’re still the same, but you’re not. It’s all for the best. The Full Moon on the 1st in Aries activates your 6th house of work. Whatever comes to a head, face it, examine it, and find your position in it.

There’s a reason for it happening, so make it work for you. It will empower you if you embrace it. Mars is still retrograde and in square to Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn, creating stress and tension in many areas of your life. Don’t push too hard. Nothing is going to budge unless it’s ready to move. If you want to change, you’ll probably have to wait until the end of the year. It’s time to dance around some issues until they move on.

There will always be a chance to speak up. Just remember, timing is everything. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. The second Full Moon this month is on the 31st and in Taurus, your house of relationships.

If you’re in a relationship, your partner has trouble embracing a new path, but it’s only about confidence. Give support. If you’re single, it’s an excellent time to experiment and open yourself up to something new. Take a risk.

Sagittarius (November 22nd – December 21st)

Sagittarians have had some of their freedom taken away. In fact, just wearing a mask may be a significant imposition. However, life is full of many challenges, and this one is necessary.

Jupiter. Pluto and Saturn are conjunct, and they have limited some of your freedom. In December, your ruler Jupiter will enter Aquarius, and you’ll find yourself in a new world and back to a sense of independence. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, and it may require you to redo some old projects or reframe ideas because the world is different. So clean out your desk and prepare for the new.

Mars is still retrograde in Aries and square Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn. Your sense of power is being challenged. Focus on your goals, and forget about proving yourself. It’s a waste of energy. Venus enters Virgo on the 3rd, ruler of your 10th house of career. Venus adds a sense of social interaction, a pleasant and warm element to that area of your life. It’s also great energy for making new contacts. The Full Moon on the 1st happens in your 5th house.

Children and friendships may be an issue now. The second Full Moon is on the 31st and in Taurus, ruler of your house of work. The people you used to work with may disappear. It’s all changing. This is a good time to look at what’s important. We only do this when we’re forced to, but it is important.

The cosmic views also predict some relationship turmoil. If you’re in a relationship, your partner is unavailable emotionally. They may have too much going on. Be patient if you can. If you’re single, you could have a secret affair. So the question is, why does it have to be secret? Let go of what others think?

Capricorn (December 22nd – January 19th)

Capricorn is earth, and it rules the structure of all our lives in the cosmic views for October 2020. For you now, it’s about control, you feel you don’t have any, and the unknown is both your favorite place by choice and a place you want to avoid when it happens to you. However, the unknown requires faith, and when you use it, it becomes stronger.

The truth is, you love and enjoy things that you can’t control. You’ve been under siege with Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter in your sign for over a year. It’s a heavy burden to host these three planets all at one time, and I’m sure your stress level has been high. However, in mid-December, it will be lightened. Jupiter and Saturn leave and enter Aquarius. This means you will feel free, and your finances should improve. Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio on the 14th, and friendships become a focus.

Don’t be surprised if a long-lost friend reemerges. That’s because retrogrades bring people and things from the past back into the moment. The Full Moon on the 1st in Aries sets off your home and your private life. Do you have your worklife demands in balance? If there is no balance, fix it. Otherwise, you’ll face the consequences later on. Mars retrograde in Aries insists you look at your home life. You may be angry at what’s going on around you. You must practice patience.

There’s a second Full Moon this month, and it occurs on the 31st in Taurus, your 5th house of authority and children. The conjunction it makes to Uranus guarantees you won’t be prepared for everything that arises – but you can handle it. If you’re in a relationship, things should be fair and harmonious, despite what’s happening around you. If you’re single, you may meet someone in your neighborhood. Sometimes what we want is right in front of us.

Aquarius (January 20th – February 18th)

The cosmic views for October 2020 are intriguing. Aquarius begins the month with the Full Moon in the 3rd house of communication and ideas – your favorite pastime. If you become inspired by an event, listen to it. There’s something there you need to examine. Mars also resides in your 3rd house and won’t move on for a few months, partly because it’s retrograde until November.

If you find yourself rehashing the past and old ideas, then do so and let them go. It’s time to clean house, and that includes what you hold on to in your thoughts. If you can let go, you may have an aha moment. Of course, new ideas can change your life. Uranus in your 4th house of the home has made your living space hectic.

Either you have others coming and going, or you’re thinking of making some changes. Adding to this dilemma is the conjunction of Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn in your 12th house, square Mars in your third. You’ve been feeling stuck, whether it’s’s real or not, it’s’s held you back. You were meant to slow down and reflect so you can reposition yourself in yourself – that means a chance to reexamine your choices and accomplishments. Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, ruler of your 10th house of career.

Old projects will get your attention, and it’s a great time to finish them and move on. The second Full Moon is on the 31st in Taurus, rules your home life.  So know that whatever is going on is freeing you up to be more present for yourself.

If you’re in a relationship, there will be moments that need to be dealt with due to the Full Moon’s ability to stir things up. It’s all okay. If you’re single, take advantage of an opportunity. If you see someone you like, don’t hold back. Introduce yourself.

zodiac sign
Pisces (February 19th – March 20th)

Pisces is the most intuitive signs in the zodiac. Whether you listen to yourself or not is entirely up to you. Instinct is a primal gift, and you have an abundance of it. Use it, and it gives you an advantage. It’s’s been and will be difficult for you when it comes to your friends.

The Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn conjunction have caused a few blocks or slowdowns lately. The square these planets make to Mars adds annoyance and anger to whatever is going on or not moving. What you need is patience. It will pass, but not as quickly as you want it to. The Full Moon on the 1st shakes up your 2nd house of finances and values. You may be having a financial issue, but don’t let it fill you with panic. If you can keep a clear head and your feet on the ground, you will find a way eventually.

Mercury goes retrograde on the 14th in Scorpio, and it challenges your ideas and beliefs. Just know you are more capable and magical than you can imagine.  Trust in the unknown. There is always something new for you to see and embrace. Mars is retrograde in your 2nd house of values, so old customers or opportunities may reappear. So what you need is a positive attitude and a vision of what you want.

The 2nd Full Moon is on the 31st is in Taurus. So you may deal with a sibling, or perhaps you’ll receive a message you’re not expecting. Everything happens for a reason, so change what you can and accept what you can’t.

If you’re in a relationship, your partner is going through a few challenges and needs you to be understanding. If you can’t, then be silent but supportive. Finally, if you’re single, there is an opportunity to meet new people that interest you for different reasons. The cosmic views for October 2020 say, go ahead! This is your time to play.
