They don’t stuff their feelings away but don’t let their emotions steer the wheel. People with emotional intelligence pay attention to their feelings, so they don’t overreact or make bad decisions based on emotions. They also know themselves very well and set boundaries with people to maintain a sense of peace and autonomy at all times.
